Turner Foundation for Community Advocacy Unveils Custom-Built YCAM Mentorship Program Student Portal
Atlanta, GA — November 6, 2025 — The Turner Foundation for Community Advocacy, Inc. (TFCA) is proud to announce the launch of its new custom-built Youth Community Advocacy Mentorship (YCAM) Program Student Portal — a transformative digital tool designed to automate participant progress tracking, enhance communication, and streamline collaboration with program partners and school administrators.
Developed in partnership with GHD Unlimited, a strategic growth consultancy led by founder Nathan Grossman, this innovative platform represents a significant step forward in the Foundation’s mission to empower Atlanta’s youth through mentorship, leadership, and community advocacy. The project combines technology and strategy to create a system that not only tracks impact but strengthens the Foundation’s ability to scale its work in the years ahead.
“This platform takes our mentorship program to the next level,” said Sunshine Hodges, Chief Development and Marketing Officer of the Turner Foundation for Community Advocacy. “With the help of Nathan and the GHD Unlimited team, we’ve turned our vision into a dynamic, data-driven solution that not only supports our current students but positions us to serve even more young advocates across the community.”
The new YCAM web application introduces a suite of powerful features, including:
- Automated Participant Progress Tracking: Streamlines data collection and reporting on student milestones, attendance, and engagement.
- Integrated Communication Tools: Facilitates seamless communication between students, mentors, and administrators at Frederick Douglass High School.
- Partner Collaboration Integration: Enhances coordination with partners such as Dormoney.ai, enabling real-time updates and student support.
- One-on-One Scheduling: Simplifies appointment management between students, coordinators, and college and career coaches, creating a more personalized experience for every participant.
“This system shows what happens when technology meets purpose,” said Nathan Grossman, founder of GHD Unlimited. “Our goal was to design a framework that makes it easier for mission-driven organizations like the Turner Foundation to measure their impact and expand their reach without adding complexity.”
The new application builds on the Turner Foundation’s ongoing commitment to using technology as a force for opportunity and access. With its implementation, the Foundation expects to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and long-term impact tracking as the YCAM program continues to grow.
